    Question & Answer Transcription:

    Q. Do you have a website that is helpful in learning VBA functions/code?

    A. https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system(v=vs.110).aspx. Another source that is helpful for those just beginning with visual basic programming is: https://mva.microsoft.com/en-US/training-courses/visual-basic-fundamentals-for-absolute-beginners-16507?l=jqMOvLKbC_9206218965. Also, to be exact, the report designer supports VB.Net and not just VBA.

    Q. Do you have a site that is helpful with CSharp?

    A. As Lucas pointed out, MSDN will also cover C#.  One thing to consider if you decide to use C# is that a good amount of learning the report designer and the code inside the report is from the existing default MV reports. The default reports are written in VB.Net and not C#.  You won't have that resource available if you select C#.

    Q. One of the most common criticisms of our reports is that we burn paper.  Show how to change to single space, please!  Clients want to use as little toner and paper as possible.

    A. You adjust the height of the databands, text components, and text font size on those bands.,Lucas will also demonstrate how to consolidate data using the group headers.
